 “The meaning of my poem

A lot of people have been writing to me and asking about the meaning of my song. I wrote the last part years ago and I chose to finish it while I was on the show, because it means something different to me now. __Brother, sister, mother, father sleeping, standing underwater.( I have a brother, a sister, a mother, and a father — My dad passed away from cancer a little over a year ago and it felt like we were all in a very sad dream. )Sinking, swimming, floating, dreaming forward moving, backward thinking.(sickness, fighting, hospital care, death — he went into remission, and then another biopsy came back and it had metastasized.)BrotherSisterMotherFather1 2 3 4 underwater. 1 2 3 4 underwater. (1.2.3.4 — the amount of family members I have. Underwater — it felt like we were all experiencing this together and it was a very helpless situation/as if one was drowning.)__This song isn’t meant to be gloomy which is why I made it so vague. I hope it can mean something different to everyone. I just think about my dad a lot and it was heavy on my heart while we were filming.”
